Volvo has always made their customers proud for owing their vehicle and is continuing to do so. But it was really a challenge for them to bring new Volvo FMX (truck) for construction purpose. Construction sites often make use of trucks to carry goods that are meant for construction and so their requirements are quiet different from those of carrying other goods. Before bringing in Volvo FMX to market they made quiet research on the product and manufactured it in the way as a construction company will look for. Before bringing Volvo FMX truck in a market, test driving was to be done by the press people in order to determine the efficiency of the truck during different driving conditions. New Volvo FMX praised in press test was mainly due to its outstanding features and this also made test driving successful. There were various difficult conditions placed during test driving session, so that it can be determined that this truck can also survive to its best, whatever may be the situation.

The improvised version of computerized software called I-shift transmission made it possible to deal with difficult situation for trucks. Thus this improvised version is very effective and has made it possible to drive even on off road or rough land. There were around 150 journalists from 30 different countries were called to test the truck and these journalists were specialized in transport and construction. In the month of April this truck was launched at Bauma construction fair and at comtrans fair and in the month of May test driving was conducted.

The main motto of test driving was to check the efficiency of the truck and apart from that they also wanted to have knowledge related to some astonishing features of the volvo FMX. While driving changing gear is again a complicated issue as it may not help to completely concentrate on driving, but with the launch of this truck issue of changing gear has gone for a toss. You don’t have to change the gear as it is automatic to any type of surrounding. Due to its great features and effective utilization this truck has gained lot of fame from press people.
